Relax at the Lake

Clear Lake is one of the few recreational lakes in Iowa and it attracts thousands of people during the summer months who come to town to enjoy the events that occur every weekend somewhere in town. The beautiful lake is spring fed, formed by glaciers some 14,000 years ago. Clear Lake has a surface area of about 3,600 acres and measures seven miles long and two and one-half miles wide. The town has a rich history that we encourage everyone to explore. It boasts amazing beaches for swimming, fishing, and boating. Explore the amenities and resources.
